Our doctors are board certified in the evaluation and treatment of vision problems that interfere with school, work and sport. Many vision problems are not easily diagnosed in a routine eye examination and require advanced evaluation of eye teaming, focusing, tracking and more.
- Myopia Management
Myopia or nearsightedness is on the rise in children. Thankfully, there are proven methods that can slow the progression of myopia. Our doctors are experts on the latest treatments that can be customized to your child to ensure success.
- Dry Eye Management
Advanced diagnostic and therapeutic technology is key to the management of dry eye disease. Our doctors utilize the latest treatments, including Intense Pulse Light (IPL) therapies, to improve the quality of life for our patients.
- Eye Examination
State-of-the-art examinations tailored to your unique vision needs. Our detailed assessments lead to personalized vision correction solutions. We are up to date with the latest in contact lens technologies and customized prescription lenses.
Comprehensive compassionate vision care for the entire family
The team at Park Ridge Vision are leaders in the field of eye care. The doctors and staff are highly sought-after speakers, writers and consultants by colleagues but all of that is second to the primary purpose of caring for the patients in our practice.
“Patients don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care”
– Dr. Bob Sanet
Park Ridge Vision’s roots are deep, starting in the 1970’s with the practice of Dr. Alphonse Serpico and his wife Kathy. Dr. Serpico and Kathy took amazing care of the community. The practice was transitioned to North Suburban Vision Consultants in the early 2000’s. Dr.Press joined the practice in 2012 and in 2019 the practice is being rebranded to “Park Ridge Vision” with the goal of returning to the local, family purpose of Dr. Serpico and Kathy. We hope that you join us!

Happy Patients

Three things that might surprise you:
1. Perfect eyesight does not equal perfect vision.
2. A child can have perfect eyesight and still have visual problems that lead to struggle.
3. Many common vision disorders can be remedied with evidence-based vision therapy. When considering a program of vision therapy, look for “FOVDR” next to the doctors name to know you are receiving care from a qualified medical professional.
